Playful LeArning and storytelling that Create Engagement for the Sustainable Development Goals among children and young people

Welcome to PLACES

PLACES (Playful LeArning and storytelling that Create Engagement for the Sustainable Development Goals among children and young people) is an ERASMUS+ project with the overall aim to contribute to the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), by engaging children and young people to take more responsibility and participate more actively in the sustainable innovation and development of our society. By using such approaches as storytelling, playful learning and inclusive education, the PLACES project will support teachers to deliver modern and high-quality teaching in primary schools and lower secondary schools, which will enable them to connect with the children and young people in a way that they will be able to engage their parents and the surrounding community, and through this connection create “cascade engagement”.
On this website you can follow the PLACES project, and by the end of the project, in August 2025, you will be able to find concrete learning material that can help you as a teacher to teach and talk about the SDGs with your pupils, and engage them in playful activities, which will give them a better understanding about how they can contribute in their daily life to the implementation of the SDGs.
